Teradactyl™  was founded in 1999 to provide innovative backup technology in anticipation of the tremendous growth in hard disk storage capacity.

The company’s software, TiBS, is marketed to medium and large size corporations, secondary education and research institutions, and government agencies with medium to large size distributed UNIX® and Windows® computing environments.   

TeraMerge is the technology process that makes the backup system work.

TiBS (True incremental Backup System) is Teradactyl’s main product, which comes in three levels of complexity for diferent backup scenarios.
